Guto Dafis tells traditional stories with energy and humour, wryness and warmth. His voice will take you on a journey to magical other worlds inside your heads; and he will also show you that in this world of the everyday, magic is just round the corner - a few careless steps into the cave of story can awaken the sleeping warriors of the imagination.
And he will make you laugh and give a sense of reality to the magic of wonder!
Guto is also a musician. He punctuates and enlivens his storytelling performances with song and with the music of his melodeon, and he has a musician's sense of pace and dynamics.
He is based in Cardiff, and tells in English and Welsh (sometimes both) for audiences of all ages in festivals, schools and storytelling clubs.
Guto co-hosted for many years the popular monthly evenings of storytelling and music at Milgi's Yurt, Cardiff.
